Metrolina Control Line Society Meeting Minutes from 22 August 2026
Metrolina Control Line Society (MCLS) held their regular monthly meeting at the Waymer Flying Field in Huntersville, NC. The lower circle got some needed maintenance by weed eating, blowing clear and spraying for weeds, as well as cleaning up the upper circle once again to ready the field for the September 19th contest. The weather was nearly perfect with overcast skies, light winds and mild a temperature for a Carolina August, so many flights were put in after a pizza lunch provided by Will Davis.
The following were in attendance: Will Davis, Don Jenkins, Max Flowe, Tommy Luper, Kermit Payne and Steven Soble.
The meeting was brought to order at 2:05 PM
Financial Report:
The club remains financially stable and has the funds available to supportcontrol line modeling for another year. The meeting minutes from our meeting on 1 August 2026 were read and approved by those in attendance.
